Princeton Center for Eating Disorders at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center (Plainsboro, NJ) provides inpatient treatment for adults, adolescents, and children as young as eight years old who are suffering from severe eating disorders. We provide the foundation for a full recovery by combining medical intervention, psychosocial treatment, nutritional support, family involvement, and the latest advances in clinical care – together with an atmosphere of understanding, safety, respect, and support throughout the recovery process. Patients and families benefit from our ability to address eating disorders in those with additional medical complications and psychiatric comorbidity, and to treat individuals who are extremely malnourished. Princeton Center for Eating Disorders welcomes patients of all genders, and is approved by most major insurers, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Referrals for patients ages 8+ are welcome.

With both Joint Commission certification and Magnet rating, Princeton Center for Eating Disorders offers outstanding care. Our research program includes program outcomes evaluation and research on longstanding anorexia nervosa, which inform our focus on individualized and evidence-based treatment.
